Welcome to the NHS Hospital Pharmacy Procurement Training site. This site is a structured, interactive programme which will give a comprehensive training in some of the underpinning knowledge required for purchasing, storage, and distribution of medicines for hospital patients. more >

The course has been designed to meet the needs of pharmacists and technicians. The modules can be accessed in any order and can be completed at your own pace. The text will remain available as a reference source and will be revised as practice and technology changes and in response to participant's comments. Each module includes exercises to reinforce learning and make it fun!

Completion of the course exam will qualify for a certificate. The course is based on current training available. Accredition will be applied for in due course.

The course is FREE to NHS staff.
